Thiomolybdates

A large number of compounds have been described. Besides the normal salts, R^•₂MoS₄, basic compounds of the type R^•₆Mo₂S₉, and acid salts of the type R^••S.3MoS₃, have been prepared. Oxythiomolybdates, compounds intermediate between the molybdates and thiomolybdates, are also known.
