Lithium Paramolybdate, 3Li2O.7MoO3.28H2O
Lithium Paramolybdate, 3Li2O.7MoO3.28H2O, is prepared by the action of nitric acid on the normal salt, the reaction being
7Li2MoO4 + 8HNO3 = 3Li2O.7MoO3 + 8LiNO3 + 4H2O. The salt crystallises in bundles of needles, readily soluble in water. |
